We started out 2 1/2 years ago with agency #1 and a referral but my home study agency persuaded us to try their sister agency and a program in Uzbekistan. I sent the dossier and everything but the country didn't cooperated and they were dropped. That left us with nothing and lost a little bit of money. After much prayer and thought decided to continue with this agency #3, and Kaz.

Adoption?
You may be wondering how one comes to adoption when they have five wonderful children. I suppose when the Lord speaks to you, you listen and don't ask questions--no matter how crazy something sounds. Bobby and I have always loved kids--duh--and thought we should share our family and home with a child who needed one. Since we adore Asian and Russian culture, Kazahkstan seemed like the perfect choice. We may not have "things" to give her but whoever really wants that anyway? Yes, I said her. We have a desire for a girl with minor special needs. I, Linda, was born with a birth defect and know that perfection is what you think it is.
